My Most Used Apps of 2020

Not in any particular order or sponsored… just for anyone who might be looking for new shit to fill their phone with.

TikTok: Like many Millennials I could only resist for so long. Its a massive time suck, but once the algorithm knows what you like, the content is great!

Houseparty: Fun video chat app with built in games and easy to use functions. Like most video chats it’s better with fewer people. In the time of Corona its a nice, informal, app with ‘rooms’ like the old online chat rooms from our childhood. You can ‘lock the door’ or leave it open and let friends pop in whenever.

Letgo: Just download this the other day… seems like it’s going to be a great resource for when we move and need furniture and bits for the new place.

Etsy: Love this for finding things like masks, art, and more. This is a great way to support BIPOC artists, and find what you need.

Meallime: My best friend turned me on to this, an easy recipe and grocery list app. I have used it several times. Busy weeks get a little easier. Food waste reducing options and diverse recipes.

Excell: Budgeting!!!!

Canva: I use this app to help me create content, specifically Instagram stories and story covers. It’s easy to use on both the iphone and ipad. I like the stickers they have and have found it to be really a great boost.

Preview: One of two apps, and the one I have been using the longest, for planning and organizing my Instagram feed. Would suggest! I like their editing tools and insight data a lot as well.

Cladwell: I admit I haven’t used this much since quarantine, but I love this app for keeping track of what I have in my closet, finding new ways to wear things, planning outfits for the week, and most of all helping me make informed choices on what should be donated. Here’s to not having too much!
