I get frustrated with myself sometimes, when I realize I haven’t been writing as much. The last month or so has felt that way… but I also recently realized that one of the reasons I go through these fits and spurts is because those weeks or months I’m not writing represent the time that I spend doing the things I write about.
It’s the time I spend taking classes, shopping for my wardrobe, wearing the clothes, doing the cooking, taking pictures, working on content, living life, and having experiences. And while if I ever want these things to become more reliable for all of your and successful for me, I need to find a less stark and noticeable balance, I am so glad that I do make that time.
In the midst of school, research, life, and my 3 big projects right now… I’ve also been journaling more, sort of. I have been working through a ‘300 writing prompts’ book, a ‘642 things to draw’ book, and a “Play” journal I found at Target. These have been fun… they lead to thoughtful journaling, new art, and influence how I think about holidays, free time, relationships, and mental health.
These were obviously created by other people who depend on them for income and who worked hard on them, so I won’t share all of them or even half… but I am going to start sharing bits and pieces of these with all of you, both to help increase my consistency of content and hopefully to help you all get to know me a little bit better.
